At A.O.G. Surveying, we strive for quality and accuracy in our work. A boundary survey begins with proper courthouse research to locate documents such as deeds and prior surveys pertaining to a property. That documentation is analyzed to begin a proper and thorough search for boundary monuments affecting corners or lines of the property. Upon obtaining accurate locations and descriptions of the monuments found, the information is loaded into the survey program for comparing actual field locations with documentation. Solutions are then calculated and missing or new monuments are set at the calculated location. Once all of the monuments are accounted for, the plat and legal description can be completed and given to the client for filing or recording.
